There are tricks to getting "bestseller" status by gaming the system, using Amazon's website and criteria for being a "bestseller."
This is not about tricks or "secrets;" it is about real strategies to put more money in your pocket.
"Bestseller" is generally defined as "a large number sold," which is not very helpful for our needs.
We define a bestseller as a book that out performs the majority of books in its genre.
You must have a good book to start with.
Realize that you do not have to use all of these strategies, but the more you use the more likely it will be that your book will become a bestseller.
You must be willing to do the work and/or invest the money in your book. Both money and time are valuable assets, and either can help you turn your book into a bestseller.
